A hero that tears open on load – colour on one side, the same image with an effect on the other.
One image, two worlds
Upload a single picture. The other side shows the same frame in grayscale, duotone, high contrast, negative or blurred – no second image, no editing.
The title splits on the tear
The big title is orange on the colour side and changes colour exactly where the tear runs, wherever you place it. With “difference” it stays readable over any part of the image.
A new tear on every visit
Torn draws a fresh paper edge each time the page loads. Cut slants and slides apart. You set where it runs, how rough it is, how long it takes and when it starts.

A clean, slanted cut. When it's through, the effect side slides a few pixels away and leaves a gap in the background colour.
